As a Senior FY (Fiscal Year) Analyst on ACME RECH's Finance & Strategy team, you will lead the annual planning cycle and keep budgets, forecasts, and actuals aligned throughout the year. Your analysis gives leadership a reliable view of where ACME RECH's money is going and the trade-offs behind each investment decision.
At ACME RECH, you will own the fiscal-year planning process, from setting the budget calendar and templates to consolidating submissions from each department into a single operating plan. During the year, you will run monthly and quarterly forecasts, compare results against plan, and explain the variances that matter. You will work closely with department heads and budget owners to build their plans, with Accounting to reconcile actuals, and with Finance & Strategy leadership to model scenarios before major decisions. You will also help improve ACME RECH's planning models and reporting so the numbers are easier to trust, faster to produce, and simpler for non-finance colleagues to use.
